Sunrise/sunset
From a certain perspective, a sunrise is identical to a sunset. In fact, if all one had was a photo of a sunrise, and nothing to tell you what time the photo was taken, then there wouldn't be anything to distinguish it from a sunset.
Yet just because a sunset looks identical to a sunrise, and just because, in a certain respect, they are the same phenomenon - the difference between them is not insignificant - for the difference is literally that of night and day.
